Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the KV Rentals mobile app ("KV Rentals", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the iOS and Android apps and this website.

1. Information you provide

• Account details. Your email address, display name, and an optional phone number. If you use Continue with Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email address those services share with us. Passwords for email sign-in are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
• Listings you post. Title, description, property type, rent, the address you enter (including its map coordinates once geocoded), room and bathroom counts, and photos you upload.
• Visit and call requests. The listing involved, the day and time window you propose, any message you add, and your name and optional phone number. This information is shared with the other party to the request (the listing owner or the person requesting the visit) so the visit can be arranged.
• Saved listings. The listings you mark as favourites.
• Support messages. Anything you send us by email.

2. Information collected automatically

• Address searches. When you search for a place, the text you type is sent to third-party geocoding services (see Section 4) to return matching addresses and coordinates. We do not keep a history of your searches.
• Basic technical data. Our hosting and authentication providers process standard request information (such as IP address and device type) to operate the service and prevent abuse.

KV Rentals contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How we use information

• To create and secure your account.
• To show listings, run distance-based search, and display listings on a map.
• To let renters and owners arrange visits and communicate about a request.
• To respond to support requests.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
• To meet legal obligations.

4. Service providers

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) — hosts your account, listings, photos, and visit requests. See Google's privacy policy at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — optional authentication. They receive only what is needed to sign you in.
• OpenStreetMap geocoding — address search is served by Photon (Komoot) and Nominatim (OpenStreetMap Foundation). Your search text and request metadata are processed by these services to return results.

These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes, except as described in their own policies.

5. Sharing

We share information only: (a) with the other party to a visit request, as described above; (b) with the service providers in Section 4; (c) if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property; and (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

6. Retention

We keep your account information while your account is active. Listings and visit requests are kept until you delete them or your account is closed. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, listings, saved items, and visit requests within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law or resolve disputes.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction. You can view and edit your profile and listings in the app.
• Deletion. Email rajesh.gullapalli@kidzeeai.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my account".
• Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to a copy of your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and access to stored data is restricted by server-side security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Children

KV Rentals is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International use

Your information may be processed on servers operated by our providers in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
